Lara Trump has returned to horseback riding just three weeks after she gave birth to her daughter, Carolina, and she couldn’t be happier about it.
The avid equestrian took to Instagram over the weekend to share a photo of herself riding a horse at a stable in Bedford Hills, New York, writing: ‘So stoked!! I’m back!’
The 36-year-old is dressed casually in a striped T-shirt and jeans in the snapshot, which shows her sporting a riding hat, boots, and gloves as she poses on top of her horse.

Lara and her husband, Eric Trump, welcomed their daughter on August 19, and while she remained active throughout her pregnancy, it’s likely been months since she was last on a horse.
Many doctors have mixed views on whether or not it is safe for even a skilled equestrian to ride horses during pregnancy. The biggest danger for an expectant mom is falling off the horse or getting kicked off.
In general, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists advises that pregnant women should avoid activities with a high risk of abdominal trauma such as horseback riding.
Lara famous broke both of her wrists in a horseback riding accident that took place just two weeks before her November 2014 wedding to Eric, but her injuries did nothing to temper her love of the support.
Five years later, she is still an avid rider, and she didn’t waste any time getting back in the saddle after giving birth to her baby girl last month.

New moms who had uncomplicated vaginal deliveries can return to vigorous exercises such as horseback riding as soon as they feel up to it, according to Dr. Laura Fijolek McKain, an OB/GYN based in North Carolina.
However, the doctor advises that women who have given birth via cesarean section should wait at least six weeks before exercising.
Becoming a mother of two hasn’t slowed Lara down a bit, and the day after she went riding, she returned to Instagram to share photos of herself enjoying a nature walk with her son, Luke, and their dogs, Charlie and Ben.
In the first snapshot, Lara is following close behind Luke as he leads the way on the trail. She is wearing a purple sleeveless top, pale lavender leggings, and neon Nike sneakers for the outing.

Many commenters couldn’t resist noting how svelte Lara looks less than a month after she gave birth.
‘You just had a baby!!!! You’re so little,’ one person wrote.
‘We’re [sic] you even pregnant?’ another asked.
During both of her pregnancies, Lara remained active worked out with her personal trainer right up until she was ready to give birth.
The fitness fanatic was four months pregnant when she competed in the Los Olas Triathlon in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in April.

She also ran the Fort Lauderdale Half Marathon back in February, at which point she would have been approximately three months pregnant.
Lara managed to keep her pregnancy hidden well into her second trimester; she and her husband Eric didn’t announce that she was expecting until she was five months along.
The Trump 2020 campaign adviser seems to be relishing in being a mother of two, and over the past few weeks, she has shared numerous photos of her baby girl.
In one sweet black and white snapshot, Carolina is fast asleep with her little hand resting underneath her chin.
‘Excuse me, ma’am, but when did you get so sassy?’ she wrote.
Another image shows her cuddling with Luke and Carolina on the couch while their dog Charlie lies down behind them.
‘3 out of my 4 babies in one pic together seems like a win!’ she captioned the photo.
