The recipe is very simple and involves placing half a teaspoon of strawberry jam into the centre of puff pastry square, followed by a Tim Tam and another dollop of jam.

The woman then wrapped the filling like a parcel and brushed the top layer with milk before placing in the air fryer.

She cooked the dessert for 12 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius and served them with ice cream.

Since the start of the year, thousands of other home cooks have shared their own unique and wonderful air fryer recipes on Facebook.

Last month a Sydney mother-of-three shared how she made tasty peanut butter and chocolate pastries in her 5.3 litre Kmart air fryer – which involves the same method as the Tim Tam pies.

Katie, from Sydney, revealed the simple method to the Share Kmart Air Fryer Recipes Australia Facebook group and said she was inspired by the iconic Caramello Koala chocolate.

‘So with all the inspiration of the Caramello Koalas I decided to venture into my own take on it,’ she said online.
