Makeup artist, 20, heals her acne in four weeks with ONE vitamin

A makeup artist who tried ‘everything’ to get rid of her inflamed pimples turned to a bottle of natural digestion tablets – and achieved incredible results in just one month.

Millie Baccini, who is based in Canterbury, Victoria, had ‘really good skin’ growing up and barely suffered from breakouts during her teenage years.

But when the 20-year-old began wearing makeup more frequently for work, the texture of her face changed and she started to feel more embarrassed about the resulting acne.

‘It affected my mood severely. My cheeks were sore and red and I felt the need to always wear makeup when I would usually only wear it when going out or seeing clients,’ she told FEMAIL.

‘Luckily for me being a trained makeup artist I know all the techniques for covering up pimples, however when the texture of the skin is so irritated, you can still see the acne underneath layers of foundation.

‘My acne made me not want to go out anymore… it was horrible.’

Millie changed birth control pills to one her doctor recommended for controlling breakouts, tried Proactiv, visited dermatologists and even bought skincare from America where the formula was stronger.

But sadly none of these things seemed to make much of a difference and Millie was quickly beginning to lose hope.

‘I was hesitant at first but after a month of taking the vitamins my skin had stopped producing new pimples and the only flaws on my face were the acne scars healing,’ she said.

‘This was amazing because I was able to hide all evidence of the acne, with the scars and discolouration being the only things left to cover on my face.’

Starting the healing process in June this year Millie continues to take a tablet once daily and constantly has clients asking her how to improve their own skin.

‘Most of my clients are young girls in their final years of school and I find that breakouts and acne are a common problem for that age group,’ she said.

Millie said she will also try some of the other vitamins in her range – including Detox and Debloat – but will maintain her current routine alongside it.
