Many of you have been asking about how to get into acting and tips. This covers audition tips for kids, tweens, and teens, specifically outfits, hair, and make up. The tips here are things I’ve learned from my agents and other actors.

Outfits & Colors to Wear (and not wear):
– Blue books is the saying in the industry. Blues, bright colors like pinks, purples, turquoise. Stick with solids colors.
– Do not wear white, red, black (or yellow in my opinion) and no prints — they are distracting on camera
– where your hair down and natural — the casting directors want to see you natural. Unless they ask for something specific for the audition
– kids, tweens, and teens should not wear makeup. If you need to use some coverup for a pimple or pink/red areas that is OK.
